Eved Ivri Perek 3, Class 6 (26). End of Ma’amar: if as explained, Moshe is the one instructed to do כי תקנה עבד עברי why is it a Mitzvah (in the תרי”ג) for all of us? The answer: He does the same Mitzvos we do, so by taking an Eved Ivri we encourage Him to take US as Eved Ivri.
Hayom Yom 27 Tamuz, Class Two. The idea of being joyous about being criticized because we grow from it. The way one learns a Halacha of Kashering in Gan Eden. This great Chossid is made aware of his “Yeshus”, the idea of “Murgash” is introduced and proposed. This is corrected through fire, exceeding the limit so that the fire is really Bittul.
Tanya Perek 12, Class 1 (98). Introduction to Beinoni. The Klipa never gets the Nefesh HaElokis, where the two meet the body. The two ideas of מדריגת הבינוני and מדת הבינוני and the great difference between the two. מדת הבינוני is really a functional “one day (hour, minute) at a time kind of thing. מדריגת הבינוני is actually a level or category, defined by the combination of מלוכה and ממשלה. The former is when the Beinoni is inspired (almost like a Tzadik) and the latter is when he survives on the trace that remains from the inspiration from before.
Class One. Moshe has the role of giving Da’as to ‘Zera Behaima’ (Yidden from BY”A) who lack Da’as on their own. The reason he can effectively give them the Da’as they lack is because they are (eved) Ivri, the source of their Neshama is from ‘the other side of the river’ and there they have all the the Da’as they could need, so Moshe is simply actualizing their own potential.
Class Two. Moshe actually is needed to give Da’as even to the Neshamos of ‘Zera Adam’ (Atzilus). In other words they also need Moshe Rabbeinu. To them Moshe is giving the Da’as of ‘Tachlis Hayedia shelo naiduacha’, which means: “the end of knowledge is to know that we do not (and cannot) know”. But this too can be known, though not intellectually but in the essence. For this even the greatest Souls need Moshe Rabbeinu. The Ma’amar concludes with explaining how both levels of Da’as exist in the life of the average person.
Kapital 119 (5780/ 2020) Class One. 176 Pesukim, longest Parhsa (Nasso) longest Kapital Tehillim (119) and longest Miseches in Sha”s (Bava Basra). A Perek about אלף בית the letters that are the source of everything. By saying each letter it includes everything that begins with each of the letters of the Hebrew אלף בית. Each letter is repeated eight times, the idea of eight- above Hishtalshelus. The 12 words around which this Perek revolves. The מאירי says this Perek is about Torah and peace and goodness. Others interpret the Perek about requests and concerns.
Eved Ivri Perek 3, Class 5 (25). The idea of Ratzon (end of Ein Sof) carrying Noam Hashem (as discussed in Tanya Iggeres HaKodehs 29) was introduced to explain בא בימים- בההוא נהורין עילאין. Mitzvos carry Ein Sof (through the garment of Mitzvos) to Asiya and pass by Atzilus (that begins the idea of limiting it) it is therefore called יומין עילאין. Also: we have enough days for our mission.
Class One. If creation was from שם הוי’ה only. Incredibly far and incredibly Bottul. Space and time would not exist at all.
Class Two. The world as it is created by the combination of שמות הוי’ ואלקים where the הוי’ה shines through. That is how Godliness shines in the Beis HaMikdash, Space and time exist but are Bottul.
Class Three. Levels of Bittul of the space and time to the Elokus revealed in the Beis HaMikdash. In the third Beis HaMikdash the holiness will be [not only in the house and what goes on there but] in the ground, space, of the Mikdash itself.
The incredible advantages of Tefilla even compared to Torah
When Davening begins with אדנ”י שפתי תפתח it has all the advantages of Torah as well.
There is where Yosef is superior, where Yehuda is superior, and where they are equal and something even higher than all that.
[See Likutei Sichos vol. 16 pp. 475-479].
This oral class (is based on a Sicha, though no Sicha was read), explains that for a nation to be born, where even the greatest sinners are members we must be branded on the deepest levels of the subconscious, and that was Galus Mitzrayim.
we are not a free nation until the nationhood shows itself ion the physical world, thus we are not free until Hashem has a home on earth- the Mishkan.
Thus every word from the beginning of Shmos until the end us all about one thing: Exodus.
